Education not only equips with knowledge, but it also empowers everyone to lead a decent life as it leads to a holistic development of an individual. Aligned with SDG 4 – ‘Providing inclusive and equitable quality education and promote lifelong learning opportunities to all’, we run our initiatives that support pre-school education in the form of Anganwadis and elementary schools, school education, and also support the community through vocational trainings.
We reached out to 10,722 students through our enrollment campaign- Shala Praveshotsav at our units in Bela, Sidhi, Dalla, Aarakanom, Jaffrabad, Khor, Shambhupura, and Kharia. Rural schools were extensively supported in the campaign for enrolment, and in reducing dropout rates of students in schools near our manufacturing units.
Visual educational aids and lab equipment were given to the schools in Kotputli, Tadipatri, Khor, Dhar, Kharia, Maihar, Hirmi, Rawan, Malkhed and Awarpur.
To promote education for the girl child, our units support the cause of Girl Child education through their engagement with the Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidhyalayas (KGBV) – residential schools for girls.
Our computer education programmes attracted 2880 participants at Khor, Kharia Khangar, Awarpur and Arakkonam.
A new multipurpose library has been set up at Dhar.
The refurbished infrastructure for educational facilities aided 1,58,936 students.
The Kagina Industrial Training Institute at Malkhed and JC Industrial Training Institute at Sidhi are centers of excellence and self-reliance. 1285 students who have been trained here, now have well placed jobs.
