UltraTech awarded ‘Brand of the Year’ at MMA Smarties APAC 2021 Wins two gold and a silver for its #BaatGharKi campaign

November 2021: UltraTech, India’s No.1 cement brand, has been recognised as the 'Brand of the Year' at MMA Smarties APAC 2021.

 

The Smarties APAC award is one of the most esteemed awards for brands across the Asia Pacific region that use mobile marketing effectively. Held virtually on 19th November this year, the awards received hundreds of entries from across the APAC region, covering more than 22 categories.

 

The Company’s #BaatGharKi campaign also won two golds under ‘Cross Mobile integration’ and ‘APAC Best Use of Branded Content’ categories, and a silver trophy under ‘Cross Channel Integration’ category.

 

Categories for this year’s awards spanned across technology, media and marketing. The awards recognize work that stood out, made a significant business impact and is innovative and creative. The winning entries were reviewed by MMA’s independent expert panel of judges, which comprised of global marketing industry stalwarts.

 

Empowering home-builders

UltraTech as a brand understands Individual Home Builders’ (IHB) true motivation behind building a home. A home builder sees a home not just as a structure but as an important life milestone. Most IHBs often feel the need for an expert to empower them in the process of building their first home. UltraTech saw a potential to make a difference in the lives of these first-time home builders and thus strengthening its position as a trusted home building companion. #BaatGharKi campaign was conceptualised to address this need.

 

This award-winning campaign engaged with IHBs through a series of impressive television and digital content, including social media explaining the process of home building.

 

Winning accolades for effective marketing

This recognition at MMA Smarties APAC 2021 Awards comes in the wake of the recognition accorded to UltraTech at the Mobile Marketing Association’s (MMA) SMARTIES X Global Awards 2021 earlier in November. It was recognized with a Silver award in the Innovation in Mobile Marketing category. Prior to that in September 2021, UltraTech was recognised as the 'Brand of the Year' at the 10th edition of MMA Smarties India Awards, one of the leading mobile marketing awards in India organised by the Mobile Marketing Association. It also bagged three Gold trophies and two Silver trophies at the MMA Smarties India 2021 Awards. With its win at Smarties APAC, UltraTech’s tally of marketing awards for this financial year alone stands at 36.
