Concrete Transporting and Placing

After mixing the concrete, if it is not used at the earliest, the mixture may get set. For this, keep in mind the following points while transporting and placing of concrete:

Step No.1

While transporting the mixture, there should be no jerks,

the concrete should be placed in the shuttering within

30 minutes of pouring water in it.

Step No.2

While pouring the concrete ensures that the height

is not more than 1 meter.

If the height is more, use chutes for the same.

Step No.3

Take note that, while placing the concrete,

the alignment of the formwork should not be

disturbed or shaken.

Step No.4

If you are doing slab concreting, start placing

the concret from one corner of the formwork.

Step No.5

If the slab is sloping, always start the work from

the side of a slope.

Note: Use lesser water for such type of work.
