UltraTech Secures 13 Awards at CII National Award for Excellence in Energy Management 2026

UltraTech won 13 awards at the 27^th CII National Award for Excellence in Energy Management 2026, in the Cement Integrated and Cement Grinding Sectors. The awards were held in Hyderabad from 16-18^th September, 2026. They recognise excellence in energy management across the industrial sector, allowing organisations to showcase best practices, technologies and achievements in energy conservation.

Baga Cement Works, an integrated manufacturing unit in Himachal Pradesh, won the Excellent Energy Efficient Unit award for the fourth consecutive year. The unit was recognised for its impactful energy conservation initiatives and AI-driven innovations, including Digital Boom management and limestone size monitoring, which have significantly enhanced operational efficiency and sustainability performance.

Pali Cement Works, an integrated manufacturing unit in Rajasthan, won the Excellent Energy Efficient Unit award and the Special Award for Most Useful Presentation. The unit set industry benchmarks in heat and power consumption, and increasing green energy usage in energy conservation.

Dhar Cement Works, an integrated manufacturing unit in Madhya Pradesh, won the Energy Efficient Unit award and the Most Innovative Project Award, while integrated units Kotputli Cement Works (Rajasthan), Rajashree Cement Works (Karnataka), and Balaji Cement Works (Andhra Pradesh) were awarded Energy Efficient Unit awards, showcasing their continued commitment to energy conservation and operational excellence.

Four of the Company’s grinding units also won the Excellent Energy Efficient Unit award - Hotgi Cement Works (Maharashtra), Arakkonam Cement Works (Tamil Nadu), Sikandrabad Cement Works (Uttar Pradesh) & Ratnagiri Cement Works (Maharashtra), while Patliputra Cement Works (Bihar) won the Energy Efficient Unit award.

These recognitions reaffirm UltraTech’s collective commitment towards driving energy efficiency, sustainability, and operational excellence.
