Ideathon 2.0, an idea-sharing initiative under the 'I love my UltraTech' platform, this year brought together employees from the Manufacturing and Projects verticals of UltraTech Cement Limited to contribute ideas for enhancing manufacturing excellence. Over 16,000 employees from across 80 locations contributed over 250,000 ideas in a short span of 72 hours.
Ideathon 2.0 drew inspiration from the inaugural edition of Ideathon 1.0 launched in May 2020 under the aegis of ‘I Love my UltraTech’, an internal ideas and knowledge sharing platform for UltraTech employees.
Far from being a conventional brainstorming session, Ideathon 2.0 emerged as a dynamic agent for innovation, poised to revolutionise the landscape of manufacturing and project management. The event underscored the organisation’s steadfast commitment to nurturing an ecosystem of inclusive innovation.
Key themes such as optimising material handling, enhancing workforce productivity, and advocating environmental sustainability resonated deeply with the diverse cohort.
