Cement performance for January 2011
The cement production of UltraTech Cement, the Aditya Birla Group company, for the period April-January 2011, has moved up by 3.23% at 313.77 lakh mt as against 303.96 lakh mt during April-January 2010. Dispatches rose by 3.19% at 313.01 lakh mt in April-January 2011 vis-à-vis 303.33 lakh mt in the corresponding period last year.
Cement production for the month of January 2011 stood at 33.89 lakh mt and dispatches at 33.41 lakh mt.
