On World Environment Day, Hindalco sold its first indigenous dry bulker, especially for cement, to a trusted logistics partner of UltraTech Cement.
With 'Air pollution' being the theme for World Environment Day this year, it was fitting that Hindalco and UltraTech collaborated to help transporters and cement companies enhance their supply chain efficiencies and reduce greenhouse emissions. Aluminium as a metal is not only safer, durable, and sustainable but also more efficient and cost-effective. Vehicle manufacturers around the world are now choosing aluminium to create smarter vehicles that contribute to reducing air pollution.
In January 2019, at the International Conference on Aluminium and Exhibition (INCAL), Hindalco launched India's first indigenous dry bulker, especially for cement. This eco-friendly bulker can be used to carry cement, fly ash, food grains, PTA powder, and alumina.
