Over the course of time, your home tiles begin to loosen and crack. This is an indication that the mortar or cement that binds the tiles to the walls or floors, has weakened.

Step No.1

Check the area around the tiles for hollow spots, this indicates that the cement has either cracked or withered away.

Step No.2

Scoop away the remaining cement and remove the tile. Check the tile properly, if it’s damaged then you should replace it.

Step No.3

It will take at least 24 hours for the cement to completely dry so make sure you avoid that area during this time.

Step No.4

Apply a new layer of UltraTech TILEFIXO to the back of the tile and spread it to the ends with a float. Make sure lumps don’t form while you’re doing this.

Step No.5

Place the tile in its place and press down; then cover the edges with joint filler and spread it with a float. Once the mortar dries, which takes a few minutes, wash the tiled area with a sponge.
