UltraTech delivered its best-ever performance at the Economic Times Brand Equity Shark Awards, winning 18 awards at the 8th edition of the event, the most any brand has won in a single year at the platform. UltraTech swept the top three honours of the evening, clinching Brand of the Year, Marketing Team of the Year, and Campaign of the Year. Ajay Dang, UltraTech’s President and Head – Marketing, was also recognised with the Marketer of the Year Award, adding a prestigious individual honour to UltraTech’s award tally.
Notably, this is the second time UltraTech has won Brand of the Year at the ET Shark Awards, having first claimed the honour at the 2022 edition. Across the full tally of 18 awards, comprising six Gold, five Silver, three Bronze, and one Jury Recognition, UltraTech won in categories spanning Integrated Marketing, Digital Marketing, Data-Driven Marketing, Technology in Marketing, Rural Marketing, and Video and Film Marketing.
The wins reflect UltraTech’s continued ability to stay ahead in a fast-changing marketing landscape. As consumer attention shifts across platforms and formats, UltraTech has consistently adapted its outreach, embraced new media, digital-first storytelling, and data-led targeting, while staying rooted in the cultural context of the markets it serves. This ability to evolve without losing relevance has allowed the brand to set benchmarks in marketing excellence not only within the building materials sector but also across categories.
Organised by ET Brand Equity with Kantar as Knowledge Partner, the Shark Awards recognise work evaluated by a jury of 100-plus business leaders, CEOs, CMOs, and marketing experts, assessed on originality, strategy, execution, and measurable impact.
