Our holistic approach to 'mother and child healthcare' helps address the medical needs from family planning to early childhood care.
Over 1.24 Lakh children were immunized against polio and tuberculosis, diphtheria, tetanus and measles. Around 13,122 expectant mothers took advantage of the antenatal, postnatal, mass immunization, nutrition and escort services for institutional delivery. These activities are a part of our Reproductive and Child Healthcare programs.
Over 3126 girls and mothers participated and actively engaged at our sessions on adolescent healthcare and nutrition awareness. As a result of our intensive motivation drive towards responsible family raising, 1473 villagers opted for planned families. These programmes spanned Awarpur, Hirmi, Jafrabad, Khor, Kharia Khangar, Jharsuguda, Tadipatri, Malkhed, Sambhupura, Rawan and Kovaya.
