Over the course of time, your home tiles begin to loosen and crack. This is an indication that the mortar or cement that binds the tiles to the walls or floors, has weakened. Such tiles can fall off walls and are susceptible to moisture penetration, which leads to further problems like mould and water leaks.
To help you prevent this problem, UltraTech has developed a floor tile adhesive called TILEFIXO, a polymer-modified cement that’s designed for high durability, performance and quality. It’s ideal for both internal and external floors as well as walls, and it comes in seven variants based on the application.
Check the area around the tiles for hollow spots, this indicates that the cement has either cracked or withered away.
Scoop away the remaining cement and remove the tile. Check the tile properly, if it’s damaged then you should replace it.
It will take at least 24 hours for the cement to completely dry so make sure you avoid that area during this time.
