The Importance of Doing Curing - Explained

The home you build should be durable. Othewise you will waste a lot of money and time on repairs and renovation.

Ugly cracks are a sign of a poorly built home. When concrete loses water at an early stage, cracks will appear. This will happen if there’s been any negligence on the part of the contractor or the mason.

To avoid cracks, ensure proper curing or watering is done. The main purpose of curing is to keep the concrete surface moist at all times, allowing the concrete to strengthen over time.

Curing is carried out during all stages of laying the concrete
Curing is continued for seven to ten days
Remember, a stitch in time saves nine.  Stay vigilant during each stage of construction to avoid wasting money on repairs.
