UltraTech Cement has a focused approach to improving the quality of life of its employees and their families who reside in townships near our plants. Add More To Life (AMTL) is one such initiative that was started by the Aditya Birla Group and adopted by UltraTech.

AMTL, initiated four years back by the Group, is all about making the employees at our manufacturing locations across businesses, happy to work there. It was found during organisation level surveys that employees did not have enough leisure facilities at the plants. AMTL, thus, envisaged creating digital theatres, food courts, gymnasiums, kid's zones, libraries and well-equipped accommodations, among other things.

Depending on their respective needs, some or all of the above mentioned facilities are being considered for all plants at UltraTech. Three digital theatres are already operational at Gujarat Cement Works, Vikram Cement Works and Birla White plant.

The theatre at Vikram Cement, inaugurated in 2014, recently started screening 3D movies. The latest plant to have a digital theatre is Birla White, Kharia Khangar. It launched the digital theatre and a food court for residents of its township, Rajashree Nagar on 27th March this year. Aditya Digital Theatre and Food Court is a state-of-the-art facility spread over 9500 square feet. It is fully air-conditioned with a seating capacity of 48 persons.

Our plants are usually located far away from major cities. Family members of employees, therefore, look forward to such facilities at the plant that give work-life balance to employees by allowing them to spend quality time with their families.
