Awarpur Cement Works has bagged the National Safety Council, Maharashtra Chapter Award for the longest accident-free period (above 1 million accident-free man hours) and lowest accident frequency rate in the cement group. The award was presented by Mr. Arvind R. Doshi, Chairman, National Safety Council, Maharashtra Chapter on 21 September 2013.
