Cement
performance for August 2010
UltraTech’s
cement production for the period April-August 2010 has moved
up by 4.18% at 158.12 lakh mt as against 151.77 lakh mt during
April-August 2009. Dispatches rose by 4.45% at 157.63 lakh
mt in April-August 2010 vis-à-vis 150.92 lakh mt in
the corresponding period last year.
Production
for August 2010 is higher by 0.81% at 29.54 lakh mt, and dispatches,
at 29.61 lakh mt by 2.40% over August 2009.
